其實很少遇見波蘭人
In fact, I rarely met Polish
比例最多的是來這裡找工作的烏克蘭人

這對夫妻的英文和波蘭語都很溜

The couple are speaking English and Polish very well

他們來這裡旅遊

They came here to travel

這幾天閒聊之下
Chat these days
我覺得烏克蘭人是知道許多國際大事
I think the Ukrainian people is to understand the many international events
卻又顯得謙虛的人
But still humble people

青年旅館的工作人員Nik跟我說
Nik, the Hostel staff told me
烏克蘭的薪水很低
In Ukraine,there salary is really low
大家都來波蘭工作
Many people want to come to Poland to work
只要擁有波蘭護照
If you get a Polish passport
之後去其他國家都很方便
It will be very convenient to go to other countries

比較波蘭和烏克蘭
Comparison of Poland and Ukraine
烏克蘭的警察不太工作
Ukrainian police do not work
給點賄賂就可以避免開單的麻煩
People bribe the police, they can avoid the trouble tickets
所以在烏克蘭很危險
It is dangerous to live in Ukraine than Poland

雖然烏克蘭的生活環境也很優良
Although Ukraine has a very good environment
但是收入和安全性
However, income and security
卻讓人民感到恐慌
Let people panic

我在波蘭獨立日這天
The Independence Day in Poland
得到烏克蘭人的糖果祝福
I got the blessing candy from Ukrainians 

後來買了巧克力餅乾回贈
Later, I bought a chocolate biscuit rebate
她們又給了我兩塊漂亮的薑餅
They gave me two beautiful gingerbread cookies
我第一次吃到波蘭道地的薑餅
This is my first time to eat authentic gingerbread in Poland

這薑餅應該還加了其他香料
The gingerbread kind of add some spices
吃起來有點肉桂的味道
It tasted a little bit of cinnamon
通常外面會撲上有點厚度的糖霜
Usually the gingerbread has a little sugar thickness outside 
咬下去的殼有點脆
When I bite it, it's crunchy at first
但是麵包整體是鬆鬆軟軟的
But the bread is soft overall

另一款薑餅覆了一層巧克力
Another covered with a layer of chocolate
只是薑餅本身的味道會蓋過外在的一切
Gingerbread own taste will be overshadowed everything outside
雖說薑餅的口感和我想像中的脆餅乾不一樣
Although the taste of gingerbread is different from the crackers that I imagine 

但在寒冷的地方吃了薑
But in cold places to eat ginger
身體真的比較溫暖
My body is really warm

當然心是更暖的
Of course, the heart is warmer
